House Budget Bill Authorizes up to $4.5 Trillion of "Tax Cuts"
The House finally released a budget bill and based on it you will not get a full TCJA extension
The House released a 45-page budget bill yesterday. The bill contains a lot of blanks to be filled in, however, it does authorize the House Ways and Means Committee to craft a bill to allow the deficit to increase by up to $4.5 trillion over 10 years.
A permanent extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) would cost at least that amount plus President Trump would still like to see no taxes on tips, social security or overtime pay.
