Automatic 30 Day Extension on Any Possible BOI Reporting

The Government filed a motion today indicating at least a 30-day extension if they win

We have posted many times on the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting required under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) as administered by www.fincen.gov.

Yesterday, February 6, 2025, the Government filed a motion in the Samantha Smith et al case. That case resulted in a judge granting an injunction against having to file BOI reports but only for those plaintiffs.
