2025 Health Savings Amounts
The IRS has released what the 2025 Health Savings Accounts figures are for 2025.
Heath Savings Accounts are indexed to inflation and the IRS has released the 2025 numbers as follows:
Self-only plans owners can deduct up to $4,300 (an increase of $150 over 2024 numbers).
Family coverage can deduct up to $8,550 (up from $8300 for 2024).
Self-only plans require a deductible of at least $1,650 (up from $1,600) and a family plan requires having a deductible of at least $3,300 (up from $3,200) with out-of-pockets costs not to exceed $8,300 and $16,600, respectively.
Remember that the health plan has to be HSA approved. Simply meeting the deductible and out-of-pockets costs are not sufficient to be an HSA plan.
